Sketching, drawing, painting, and other forms of art play an irreplaceable part in how I think about, approach, and value design. The ability to allow ideas to flow from brain, to hand, to paper is a skill that is becoming more rare, despite its great importance. I have always felt set apart because of my ability to balance both sides of the brain -- in other words, being both technically and artistically-minded. I hope that these sketches show my passion for the artistic and free-flowing, yet technical aspects of the design process while also illustrating the idea that the design process should be fun and full of creativity.
